STONYFIELD - PRODUCT LAUNCH
Stonyfield launched a new product, Petite Creme. Not familiar? Neither was the rest of America. A very popular product in the UK, but it needed a proper introduction to the US. In a nutshell: it is a cheese product that is consumed like a yogurt with a nutrition label similar to greek yogurt. But without the tang that many women disliked about their morning meal.
Because Stonyfield is a major player in the greek yogurt market, we had to launch this similar item while tip toeing around the fact that we’d inevitably have to pit it against greek.
Our solution? Give greek yogurt-eating women permission to see what else is out there. Better yet, encourage them to do so.
